Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with ShowerNest. We value your satisfaction and want you to be confident in every purchase. This policy explains your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Your rights under Australian law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Change of mind returns

We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided.
  • The return shipping costs are covered by the customer, unless the product is faulty or damaged.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

3. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@showernest.com.au with your order number and a photo of the issue.

Depending on the situation, we may offer one of the following solutions:

  • A replacement of the same product
  • A store credit
  • A full refund

We will cover the shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.

4. Non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products such as opened or used shower curtains, liners, or bathroom accessories cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival.

5. Return process

  1. Contact our support team at contact@showernest.com.au to request a return authorisation.
  2. We will provide you with return instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include proof of purchase.
  4. Ship the parcel using a trackable postal service.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or warehouse without authorisation.

6. Refund timeframes

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. Approved refunds will appear on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
