How to Choose a Non Slip Shower Mat

Suction cups need smooth surfaces. On glossy tiles or an enamel bath, a suction mat holds firmly. On textured or stone tiles, choose the PVC drainage mat or a rubber-backed mat.

Look for drain holes. Holes let water pass through, so the mat dries faster and does not trap moisture underneath.

Measure the space. For a non slip mat inside the bathtub, measure the flat base of the tub and choose a mat a little shorter.
